Picture of PUI Audio's Subwoofer Exciter PUI Audio's Silent Subwoofer Exciter, also known as a tactile sensor, is specifically designed to rebuild ultra low frequencies down to 5 Hz. They provide bass, no space, and almost no sound.
Instead of using a cone or diaphragm to move the air, the electromechanical motor is designed to be directly coupled to a surface (such as a frame of a chair or sofa) to transfer vibrational energy from the motor to the mounting surface to excite deep tissue muscles (sports sensation, Skeletal nerve endings (tactile), as well as transmitting sound through bone conduction.
The ASX08604 SW R mute subwoofer exciter provides focused low frequency energy (down to 20 Hz) in a relatively small package. The exciter is designed to replace small subwoofers for individual users with 25 W continuous power handling and 50 W peak power handling.
The ASX11504 SW R mute subwoofer exciter provides focused low frequency energy (as low as 5 Hz) and increases power handling to 50 W continuous, 100 W peak. The exciter is designed to replace the large subwoofer for individual users and is available in an all-aluminum enclosure for building shakers.
